Who we are

Northern Lights Behavioral Consulting is a growing practice. On staff, we have Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and behavior technicians. Each staff member is integral in getting our clients the services they need!

Practice Owner and Clinical Director

Amy Jarrell is the Practice Owner and Clinical Director of Northern Lights Behavioral Consulting. She has 10+ years of direct and relevant experience. She has been a teacher, a Registered Behavior Technician, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a Clinical Director, and a Regional Director. She has worked in schools, clinics, home, and the community. Amy has dedicated herself to providing compassionate, trauma-informed, assent-and play-based ABA therapy to people, ages 2 to 21.

Opening her own practice has been a dream of Amy’s for a few years, and she is thankful to Finni Health for helping that dream become reality!

Erin Hixon

Erin has been a BCBA since 2023. Prior to being a BCBA, she worked as an RBT for 6 years. She has experience working with learners of all ages. She is passionate about neuroaffirming care as well as trauma informed care. She loves working with learners of all different support needs and focusing on functional communication.

Carolyn Larabee

Carolyn discovered the field of ABA by chance and quickly fell in love with it after witnessing the positive impact it can have not only on clients, but on their entire families. She began her career in 2017 as an RBT providing direct care and became a certified BCBA in 2021. Over the years, she’s had the privilege of working with a wide range of ages and populations, from toddlers to adults, across home, clinic, school, and community settings.
She is especially passionate about compassionate, child-centered care rooted in assent-based practices, and was fortunate to receive direct training with Gregory Hanley’s team. Her goal is always to create supportive, collaborative environments where clients feel safe, respected, and empowered to actively engage in their own learning. Carolyn is excited to work with team that prioritizes client needs and meaningful outcomes above all else.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs—especially outdoors—as well as reading, kickboxing, and cooking.

Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians

Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) make ABA possible! They are the staff implementing the goals and programs a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) creates. At Northern Lights, we are so appreciative of their commitment and hard work!
