What insurance do you take?
Northern Lights accepts most major insurances, including Medicaid. For a complete list of our accepted insurances, please check our Insurance page.
-
How long does it take for services to start?
From verification of benefits to starting therapy can take anywhere between 6 and 8 weeks. This is dependent upon the turnaround time from insurance for an assessment auth, the BCBA writing the treatment plan, and turnaround time for the initial authorization of services from insurance. Some insurances take longer than others to review.
-
Do I have a copay or coinsurance?
This is dependent on your insurance. When we do a verification of benefits, we receive a report of limitations (for example, school services may not be covered) and copay or co-insurance. We will send this to you when verification of benefits occurs.
